About

At Grand Strand Miracle Leagues, anything is possible!

Since 2001, Grand Strand Miracle Leagues has been a beacon of hope, enabling individuals with disabilities to not just play sports but also to experience the joy of being themselves, the thrill of winning, and the warmth of forging lifelong friendships.

Our inclusive programs are a place for everyone to score a goal, sink a putt, and cross home plate in the name of fun. Programs are for individuals with disabilities ages 4 and up.

What are Grand Strand Miracle Leagues programs like? The experiences are as varied as the individuals who participate, but everyone can play and learn in a community-supported, adapted, and encouraging environment.
Did you know our program was the second all-access baseball league in the country? Generous community sport and a board passionate about creating opportunity made James C. Benton Miracle League Field a reality. It includes:
  • An adapted baseball field with a rubberized surface ideal for walkers and wheelchairs
  • An ADA-approved playground, All-Star Park
  • Communication boards in the dugouts and playground
  • Two accessible bathrooms
  • Baby and adult changing tables
  • Concessions stand
  • Sensory kits with noise-cancelling headphones and fidget tools
  • Water fountain with bottle-filling station

Everyone Plays.
Everyone Crosses Home Plate.
Everyone Wins!

From this field of dreams have emerged eight baseball teams, including two Advanced Teams, which have advanced to the Special Olympics! We built All-Star Park in 2013. A hub of unlimited fun, the facility is an all-access playground designed for fitness and interaction for kids of all abilities and ages. Through the years, we have added additional sports programs, including soccer in 2011, golf in 2015, and our newest sport, cheer in 2023, to meet the needs of the athletes in our area.

Ages 4 and up are welcome to come out and play with the Grand Strand Miracle Leagues!
