The GSML played its first season of baseball in the Spring of 2002, making it the second Miracle League to be established in the United States. Since then, our baseball program has grown by leaps and bounds, but always remains true to our rules:

Everyone Plays. Everyone Crosses Home Plate. Everyone Wins!

Games are played on the James C. Benton Miracle League field, an ADA-approved, all-access baseball field with a rubberized surface ideal for wheelchairs and walkers. Each player is paired with a volunteer “Buddy” to assist them in play or just to cheer them on! 
Currently, the Miracle League has eight non-competitive teams and two teams that train to compete in Special Olympics. The goal is fun for everyone at every level of play!

Our baseball program serves players ages 4 and up and we currently have players ranging in age from 4 – 58.

As we strive to create a space where everyone can join in the game and create lasting memories, we invite you to explore the accessible features at our field.
